This updates a US-English installation of Timbuktu Pro 4.0 to versions 4.0.2.

Usage:

Double click the "Timbuktu 4.0->4.0.2 Patcher" application.

What it does:

• Updates the Timbuktu Extension. It must be in the extensions folder.
• Finds and updates the Timbuktu Pro application. It must be on a local disk.
• Finds and updates the Timbuktu Netscape plugin. It must be on a local disk.
• Updates the Timbuktu Pro guide file if it is present in the Help folder inside the Timbuktu folder inside the Extensions folder.
• Updates all Dropins and the Resources file it finds in the Timbuktu folder inside the Extensions folder.
• Installs two new Modem Descriptions: USR 56K and Global Village 56k/X2
• Finds and updates three applescript files: Synchronize Folders, Update Local Files, Update Remote files. The files must be on a local disk, have these exact names, and be Script Editor documents (i.e., exactly like they were installed).
• Creates an installation log of all files that were updated/installed.

This will only update Timbuktu Pro 4.0. Beta versions, interim releases, and other files will be skipped.

Before updating, you should locate your master disks or CD. In case of an error, it may be necessary to reinstall Timbuktu Pro 4.0 and perform the update again.

Since the patcher searches the local disk for files, it may find your installation folder and ask to patch files in the installer! Put away your original CD, disks, or installation folder before launching the patcher application.

If you performed a custom installation and have moved or omitted certain components of Timbuktu Pro (such as Dropins, AppleScripts, etc.) they will not be updated.

The patcher doesn't affect your Timbuktu preferences, users or other settings.
